Step 1: Check Your Garment

Take your time before pressing. Once the transfer has been applied, you won't normally be able to reposition it.

For a front T-shirt print, consider:

     
  • Distance below the collar

Don't judge placement entirely from the edge of the carrier film. The artwork itself is what needs to look centred.

Step 6: Press the Transfer

For cotton and polycotton:

For polyester and synthetic fabrics:

Step 7: Hot Peel Immediately

Transfers Next Day transfers are hot peel.

As soon as the pressing cycle has finished, open the press and peel the carrier film away immediately in one smooth, quick motion.

There is no need to wait for the transfer to cool.

As you peel, watch the design carefully to make sure the entire transfer remains adhered to the garment.

Stop peeling if part of the design begins lifting with the carrier film.
